The CERDI (https://cerdi.uca.fr/english-version#/admin) and the Ecole d’Economie (https://economie.uca.fr/) of the Université Clermont Auvergne (Clermont-Ferrand, France) are opening two two-year (possibly extended for one additional year) postdoctoral positions in the field of development economics and related fields (e.g., cultural economics, political economy, economic history, long-run growth, international economics, fiscal policy, etc.).

The position provides an outstanding opportunity for independent research as well as the possibility of collaborating with CERDI faculty. While no teaching duties are attached to the position, postdoctoral research associates may participate in the teaching program if mutually agreed. Postdoctoral research associates are expected to participate actively in the intellectual activities of the CERDI (« Centre d’Etudes et de Recherches sur le Développement International »), a joint research center of the CNRS and of the Université Clermont Auvergne, specialized in development economics.

Position’s features:

· Contracts are for 2 (+1 optional) years, with no teaching duties.

· Salary is approximately 2000 euros per month (net amount).

· Starting date is September 1st 2023.

Applications should be submitted before November 13, 2022 through EconJobMarket.org (https://econjobmarket.org/positions/8811)
