Cornell Institute for China Economic Research (CICER) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate. The position is open until filled.
The Cornell Institute for China Economic Research (CICER) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate for the 2017-2018 academic year. The position can be renewed for a second year contingent on satisfactory performance in the first year.
The postdoc will be expected to participate in institute activities and work closely on research projects with CICER co-directors, as well as with graduate and undergraduate students. The postdoc will be housed either in the Department of Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences or in the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management in the College of Business.
The applicant should hold a Ph.D. in economics, applied economics, or in a related field at the time of hire. Experience with structural estimation methods is essential; experience with big data sets is a plus.
The post-doc must be in residence at Cornell in Ithaca, New York. The program provides a stipend ($60,000 per twelve months) and employee benefits, as well as support for research assistance and a research budget.
