The Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the areas of International Economics and Macroeconomics.
The Erasmus School of Economics is a leading economics department in The Netherlands. It is one of the three participating schools in the Tinbergen Institute, one of Europe's leading research institutes and graduate schools in economics, econometrics and finance (www.tinbergen.nl).
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in economics. Those who are close to completion or already hold a tenure-track position are also invited to apply. Primary selection criteria will be outstanding research potential and teaching capabilities.
Employment starts in September 2018, and runs for a period of 6 years, with a tenure decision after 5 years. The position involves a teaching load of approximately 90 hours per academic year plus theses supervision. We offer competitive salaries, generous research support, and compensation for moving costs.
