A research team from the National University of Singapore (NUS), INSEAD, and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is jointly looking for candidates for a Distinguished Post-Doctoral Fellowship Award on Business and Society, with a specialized focus on behavioral transportation research.
Urban transportation is an emerging and intriguing topic that draws attention from multidisciplinary researchers. Singapore's unique urban environment and institutional features put it at the frontline of innovative public policy research on transportation. The current research team comprises professors in Economics, Psychology, and Business, and works closely with government agencies.
The initial term of the fellowship of one year, is extendable to up to two more years subject to mutual interests. The fellowship offers access to world-class faculties in the three universities, unique data sources, opportunities to conduct large-scale field experiments, and competitive employment terms. The awardee will be based in Singapore. Together with the research team, the awardee is expected to deliver high quality research, in the form of top journal publications, that impacts public policies. The fellowship can serve as an excellent stepping stone for the awardee's future placement to a tenure track position in a leading business school or public policy school.
The ideal candidate should have or be in near completion of a doctorate degree in Economics, Psychology, or Business. He or she should have expertise in quantitative research, demonstrated independence, and be skilled at managing research projects.
