    The Ivey Energy Policy and Management Centre at the Ivey Business School, Western University, Canada, invites applications for the position of Research Director.

    The Research Director will lead the research portfolio of the Centre, and manage and conduct research projects on energy sector policy and business issues, working collaboratively with the Director of the Centre. In addition, the Research Director will help manage external and internal stakeholder relations, disseminate research findings to industry, government and academic audiences, and assist with outreach events and conferences.     Candidates should have five or more years of research experience on Canadian energy sector topics, and have an M.A. or Ph.D. in economics, public policy, or a related field. Candidates should possess strong research skills as demonstrated by academic or practitioner publications. Prior employment experience at research institutes or think tanks, consulting firms, or government agencies or departments is an advantage. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, along with an ability to manage relationships with stakeholders. Compensation and benefits will be competitive.
