Washington University in St. Louis is seeking applicants for a full-time lecturer position in the economics department beginning in the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year. Candidates should have completed a Ph.D. in economics (or be close to completion) and should provide evidence of excellence in teaching.
This role requires duties equivalent to a fulltime teaching load, which the university defines as at least 12 credit-hours of classroom teaching in each semester, and which may include a combination of teaching and other departmental service and advising as appropriate.
We have particular interest in candidates with expertise in applied economics, applied econometrics and skills in teaching large sections of principles of economics.
