The School of Economics at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Applied Microeconomics for a 2-year fixed term.
Applicants must have a PhD completed or near completion and must be able to demonstrate strong research abilities.
Successful applicants will carry out independent (and/or team research) and carry out activities to develop research expertise relevant to their particular field of research. You will have the opportunity to design research projects and contribute to the development of applications for competitive funding under the guidance of senior colleagues.
This position will support Professor Richard Holden with research at the university. You will primarily be an empirical researcher in applied micro-economics. The research agenda is broad, but a focus on economics of education or organizational economics would be a plus.
