The Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN) seeks candidates for one tenure-track or post-doc academic research position in economics starting in Fall 2021. We are looking for entrepreneurial and dynamic candidates with a keen interest in issues of relevance to the business sector and policy, and a special focus on the firm or its workers as the central unit of analysis. We welcome applications from junior as well as senior researchers. Fluency in Swedish is not required but gives merit. You need a Ph.D. degree by the time you start the position. The application deadline is November 10, 2020. We offer an excellent international research environment with high potential for individual development, a full-time research position with no required teaching, access to research assistance, and extensive employer-employee data sets, and a generous travel budget.

Submit your application via www.econjobmarket.org. The application should include a cover letter describing how your research plans fit with the objectives of IFN (https://www.ifn.se/eng/about_ifn), a curriculum vitae, examples of scientific work such as your job market paper, and a research statement describing the research topics/papers you would like to pursue if hired by IFN. If you have recently obtained your Ph.D. degree, the application should include at least two letters of recommendation. For more information, see www.ifn.se/eng or contact elisabeth.gustafsson@ifn.se.
