POST-DOC POSITION IN APPLIED HEALTH ECONOMICS:

The Department of Economics at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, invites applications for a post-doc researcher in Health Economics. The position is a fixed two-year contract. The expected start date is September 2021, with some degree of flexibility.

JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should have completed, or be close to completing, a Ph.D. in (Health) Economics, or a related field. We are looking for candidates with a documented interest in health economic research. Candidates conducting economic analysis of health policies and programs or pursuing research in a field related to the organization of health care and health care markets are of particular interest. Within this field of research, the department can offer opportunities to access Swedish register data. Research potential will be the key selection criterion, and the successful hire is expected to carry out research suitable for publication in highly ranked economics journals. The teaching load is light; English is the primary teaching language.
