Nature Climate Change is a multi-disciplinary journal publishing high-quality research related to all aspects of climate change. The journal’s scope includes both the natural and social sciences and economics.
We now have an opening to join our team as an Associate or Senior Editor. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to help shape the social science content of the journal.
Our professional editors make the final decision on what we publish. You will play an important role in determining the representation of policy and socio-economic dimensions of climate change, and more broadly the social sciences and humanities, in the journal.
You will work closely with the other editors on the on-going development of Nature Climate Change and all aspects of the editorial process, including:
This is a demanding and intellectually stimulating position. Broad scientific knowledge and training, excellent literary skills, the ability to absorb new areas of research, and a keen interest in the practice and communication of research are prerequisites using your excellent interpersonal skills.
The position will ideally be based in our London, Berlin or New York office, but exceptions can be considered for strong candidates. Nature Climate Change is part of a dynamic editorial and publishing environment that also includes Nature, Nature Energy, Nature Sustainability and Nature Human Behaviour.
