We seek a highly-skilled and motivated individual to work on a research collaboration between Daniel Reck, London School of Economics, and Jacob Goldin, Stanford Law School. The position will entail close collaboration on research on tax enforcement policies aiming to improve tax compliance by high-income, high-wealth Americans.

The position is based at the Regulation, Evaluation, and Governance Lab (RegLab) at Stanford University; remote work options within the United States may be available.

The successful candidate should have a completed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong quantitative and data analysis skills, strong programming skills and confidence with the use of different data management software and the ability to manage own areas of responsibility independently without constant direct supervision. Experience with Stata is essential, and experience with SQL, SAS and/or R is highly desirable. Some training in economics is desirable, but we encourage applications from those with degrees in other quantitative disciplines and an interest in graduate study in economics. We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills who is able to communicate effectively to different audiences, conveying complex technical information in a clear and accurate manner. The salary for this position is competitive and no less than $52,870 for the duration of the contract. Due to laws governing the use of administrative data, the successful applicant must be a citizen of the United States.
