Wagner College is seeking an excellent teacher for a one-year visiting assistant professor position (with the possibility of 2 additional years) in applied microeconomics starting August 2021. Teaching responsibilities consist of three undergraduate sections per semester, including applied econometrics, introduction to microeconomics, introduction to macroeconomics, intermediate microeconomics and electives in the candidate’s area of interest and research. While we will consider all areas in economics, we are particularly interested in candidates with interest and applied research in behavioral economics, environmental issues, development and/or health economics, which will complement our current programs. Applicants must have teaching experience and those who hold a PhD by August 2021 are preferred.
