The Department of Economics invites applications for faculty positions at the assistant professor rank, beginning August 2022. The applicant must have or expect to receive a PhD in Economics by the start of the appointment. The Department is recruiting in the fields of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, International Economics, Industrial Organization, Labor Economics, and Public Economics. Applicants should have research under way which will likely result in one or more publications in top tier journals. Applicants must possess the potential to make a lasting impact on their field of specialization and should have presentation skills that suggest future excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Successful applicants will teach graduates and undergraduates, mentor students, conduct scholarly research, and provide service to the department, college, university, and academic community nationally or internationally.
