The Accounting Section at Stockholm Business School, Stockholm University, invites applications for the position as Post Doc Researcher in Operations Management.

The post-doctoral scholarship is financed by Tore Browaldh’s Foundation, Handelsbanken. The scholarship will support a full-time research-intensive activity. The scholarship is initially for a three-year period, with the possibility of an extension for an additional three years. The position commences on March 1, 2022 or later by agreement.

The scholarship entitles the Post Doc Researcher to teach up to 30% at Stockholm Business School. Compensation for teaching is paid in addition to the scholarship.

The Post Doc researcher will be placed at the Accounting section, which is the home of faculty and PhD students in the accounting and operations management disciplines. Predominantly applied in its approach the key research areas in operations management are healthcare operations, retail and e-commerce operations, buyer-supplier relationships, and green logistics.

Qualifications: Applicants should no more than three years before the application deadline have obtained a PhD degree in Operations Management or related discipline. The assessment criteria include the quality and number of articles in academic journals and working papers as well as willingness to collaborate on research activities with the section’s faculty and internationally. The primary basis for selection will be the demonstrated ability for high quality research publications relevant to the operations management area or potential ability in the near future. Candidates from all areas of operations management are invited to apply.

Application procedure: The application should include a cover letter, a CV, three letters of recommendations, selected research articles (maximum 3). For full consideration, please apply by November 18, 2021. Interviews will be carried out online on a rolling basis. Depending on the development of the covid-19 pandemic, selected candidates may be invited for personal interviews in Stockholm. Applications will continue to be accepted through January 14, 2022.
