    Macroeconomics / Monetary Economics – Faculty Position

    Economics Program at the Northern Cyprus Campus (NCC) of the Middle East Technical University (METU) is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position.

    The applicants must hold a PhD degree in Economics, along with primary fields of interest in Macroeconomics and/or Monetary Economics. Experienced applicants are expected to have published on macro/monetary subject-matters in internationally recognized and peer-reviewed journals, while the dissertations of new or potential PhDs should be on a macro/monetary theme.

    The starting rank is open in accordance with METU’s criteria for appointment. The successful candidate can be employed as instructor, assistant professor, associate professor or professor depending on her/his academic credentials.

    METU-NCC is committed to high-quality research and teaching. The candidate employed will be expected to publish in internationally recognized, peer-reviewed journals and attend international conferences in support of METU-NCC’s research goals. The standard teaching load at METU-NCC is 3 courses per semester (i.e., 9-10 hours per week).
