E. Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics
The Department of Economics at Virginia Tech invites applications for a position at all tenure-track and tenured ranks (Assistant/Associate/Professor) in the field of macroeconomics, though priority will be given to applications at the tenured ranks. The Department is in a growth phase and will be hiring several positions over the next few years. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to collaborate with faculty across the university on the Intelligent Infrastructure for Human-Centered Communities Destination Area (http://provost.vt.edu/destination-areas.html).
Candidates should have a Ph.D. (in economics or a related discipline, foreign equivalent accepted) in hand or firmly expected by August 2018. Senior candidates must demonstrate significant scholarship and teaching ability while junior candidates should show promise of significant scholarship and teaching ability.
