    The Finance Division of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver) invites applications for one tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Applicants should have completed or be nearing completion of a Ph.D. in Finance or related field, and have demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching or a record of outstanding research and teaching commensurate with the rank.

    Duties include developing and maintaining an active research program aimed at making a significant contribution to the profession, teaching in the undergraduate and graduate programs, supervising Ph.D. students, as well as contributing to other teaching and administrative initiatives of the Finance Division and the Sauder School of Business. Candidates at the senior level will be expected to provide leadership that will enhance the reputation of the Finance Division and the School. Teaching and service requirements are similar to other research-intensive universities.

    UBC Sauder's Finance Division ranks among the leading finance groups in the world in terms of both research and teaching. The research interests of the Finance Division cover most major topics and methodologies in financial economics.
