The Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics at Monash Business School, Monash University invites applications for a 2 year full-time fixed term position at Level B (equivalent to North American Assistant Professor) with a relevant PhD. The position will be funded by ARC Discovery Grant DP170100729: “The Validation of Approximate Bayesian Computation: Theory and Practice”.
Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following fields of specialisation are encouraged to apply:
Bayesian statistical methods, including modern computational techniques; frequentist simulation-based inference; statistical theory; asymptotic analysis.
Level B: AU$104,350- AU$123,917 pa Research Fellow (includes 9.5% employer superannuation).
Commencement: From June 2018
