The Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting at the University of Leicester School of Business has several openings at the rank of Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) to start in the academic year 2024/2025. The field of specialization is open, but we aim to appoint at least one candidate in Economics and one in Finance to continue our strategic investment in these areas. Candidates should have, or be close to completing, a relevant PhD. The research program of the candidate should have the potential to influence their field and candidates should provide evidence for excellence in teaching.
The Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting at the University of Leicester School of Business is research-oriented and offers a stimulating research environment organised in research groups and clusters, which include groups in Applied Microeconomics, Banking and Corporate Finance, Econometrics, Financial Markets, Industrial Organisation, Macroeconomics and the ‘Behavioural and Economic Sciences’ cluster.
