The Department of Economics at HEC Lausanne invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow position, starting in August 2025 (with some flexibility on start dates). This position offers a one-year renewable contract, with a preference for candidates available for a two-year term. We seek applicants with expertise in spatial quantitative economics and/or quantitative trade models. The position is fully research-focused, providing an ideal opportunity for a candidate interested in developing their own research agenda and collaborating with a dynamic research group on themes related to housing and energy/climate policies in an urban spatial context. You will be assisted by a team of pre-doctoral researchers who can help you in the management and collection of data; and data analysis. Teaching opportunities may also be available for those interested in gaining teaching experience.
Ph.D. (by start date) in economics and related fields (e.g., operation research) with expertise in spatial quantitative economics who are interested in studying themes related to urban, trade, migration, climate, energy, and/or environmental economics.
