Institute for Governance and Civics
The Florida Institute for Governance and Civics invites applications for up to three Teaching Faculty (I) positions in American constitutional thought, modern political thought, and economic thought, with an anticipated start date of August 7, 2025.
The normal teaching load is four courses per semester (4-4), though 1-2 courses can be offset by service duties, for as low a teaching load as a 3-3. Faculty will be expected to develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses; to advise students regarding coursework and broader academic goals; and to provide service and governance contributions to the IGC. Service to the IGC may include, among other things, planning conferences, hosting events, serving on committees, and similar matters.
