The Department of Finance at ESG UQAM invites applications for tenure-track positions in financial markets and quantitative finance, with an expected start date of June 1, 2026. The Department seeks candidates who demonstrate strong research potential, a commitment to high-quality teaching, and an interest in contributing to a collaborative and dynamic academic environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Ph.D. in Finance (or near completion).
- Candidates must show a strong commitment to both research and teaching.
- For more senior positions, a proven track record in research and teaching is required.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French before tenure
Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate programs, with courses primarily taught in French. The standard teaching load is four classes annually, with a reduced load for the first two years.
