The University of Central Asia (UCA) invites applications for a faculty position in Economics at all academic ranks (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). The appointment rank will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and scholarly achievements. We seek scholars from all fields of economics, though we have particular interest in candidates specializing in Environmental/Natural Resources Economics, Development Economics, Finance, and Applied Econometrics. We especially welcome candidates with strong quantitative and computational skills who can contribute to our data science curriculum.

The position involves teaching four undergraduate courses annually, conducting research (preferably focused on Central Asian economic development), and engaging in institutional and community service. Course assignments are flexible based on expertise. Faculty members will have opportunities to involve students in their research and receive institutional support for scholarly activities.
