About the position

The Farhi Innovation Lab at the Collège de France invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral research fellowship. The successful candidate will conduct high-quality research under the supervision of Professor Philippe Aghion and will be fully integrated into the intellectual and scientific life of the lab.

We are seeking candidates with a strong interest and demonstrated expertise in Economics of Science, Innovation and/or Growth. Research may be theoretical, empirical, or may combine both approaches, but must reflect a high level of analytical rigor and methodological sophistication.

The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to develop and advance an ambitious research agenda, both independently and in collaboration with other members of the lab. Active participation in the lab’s academic activities, including seminars, workshops, and research meetings, is an integral part of the position. The fellow will also contribute to the lab’s internationally oriented research environment, which promotes close interaction with leading scholars and institutions worldwide.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Economics by the start date, or be very near completion. Candidates should demonstrate outstanding research potential, evidenced by a strong job market paper and a promising research pipeline. Excellent quantitative skills and the ability to conduct rigorous theoretical and/or empirical research are essential.
