Short guide to assigning reviewers to applications

You do not need to assign reviewers to applications for your reviewers to rate applications, but you may do so if you wish. Here's how.
  1. Go to the applications page for a position. (Click on the link n applications for the position on your main page, where n is the number of applications you have received.)
  2. Select the applications you would like to assign to a certain Reviewer. (If you want to assign all displayed applications to the Reviewer, click the checkbox at the left of the heading for the list of applications, which checks all the boxes below.)
    • If you would like to assign Reviewers based on the applicants' primary fields or other criteria, first search for the applicants with the field/criteria you are interested in.
  3. Choose the Reviewer in the field Select reviewer.
  4. If you would like the Reviewer to write an extended comment on the applications you have selected, check the box. (You can select the name you give to an "extended comment" in your preferences. Click on the Preferences tab to do so.)
  5. Click the Assign button if you want to assign the reviewer to the checked applicants and to continue assigning reviewers to applicants currently displayed, or the Assign & clear search button if you want to assign the reviewer to the checked applicants and to return to a page listing all applicants.
  6. If you want to see all the applications to which a Reviewer is assigned, select the Reviewer in the Select reviewer field and click the Show button.
  7. If you want to remove a Reviewer from some applications, check the boxes for the applications, select the Reviewer in the Select reviewer field, and click the Remove button or the Remove & clear search button.
  8. Both the applications page and the ratings page (available if you have attached a rating scheme to the position) show the reviewers assigned to each application, and allow a Reviewer to show only the applications to which they are assigned.
