The Department of Economics and Management at the University of Padua invites applications for one position at the level of Senior Lecturer/ Senior Assistant Professor.
The position is open to candidates working in all fields of finance, financial economics, international finance/macro, microeconomics.
The tenure track is for up to three years, with the possibility of promotion to Associate Professor at the end of that period or earlier.
The appointment is expected to begin in the Fall 2024. Successful applicants must have obtained a Ph.D. in Economics or related fields at least three years ago and are expected to be committed to research and teaching of the highest quality. In addition to publishing in leading international journals, successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
Applicants should have experience of delivering research-informed teaching at an institution of higher learning or should be able to demonstrate the clear potential to do so.
Successful candidates will have some pastoral and administrative responsibilities and, above all, a commitment to collegiality and academic integrity.
