The Department of Economics and Management at the University of Padua invites applications for a position at the level of Assistant Professor/Lecturer.
The position is for up to six years, after which candidates with a strong publications record will be considered for a tenured-position.
The primary responsibility of an Assistant Professor is high-quality research; therefore, the teaching load is light (around 70 hours). Knowledge of Italian is not required.
The appointment is expected to begin in September 2024 and by that time applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Economics or related fields. Successful candidates must show the potential to publish their research in leading international journals and to provide high-quality teaching both at the undergraduate and at the graduate level.
