Technical University of Munich (TUM) is inviting applications for the position of a postdoctoral researcher starting from October 2024, or later on agreement.

The open position is at the chair of Sustainable Economic Policy (Campus Straubing, Department of Economics & Policy) and is funded by the ERC StG project "ClimaSoNo". The project's mission is to understand the vast heterogeneity in behavior and beliefs regarding climate change across regions in Europe (for more information see https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101115813).

The successful candidate will design (online) surveys and field experiments. Postdoctoral scholars are highly encouraged to start new projects and strengthen their research pipeline before starting tenure-track faculty positions. Support for conferences or conducting experiments is available.

There are no teaching or administrative obligations. We offer flexible working hours and home-office. Salary according to the TV-L (German academic salary scale (100 %, E 13). The term for the position is up to three years. Applicants with research interests in experimental economics, cultural economics, environmental economics, and/or behavioral economics and experience in conducting field experiments will be given priority.
