The Economics Program under the School of Social Sciences (SSS) consists of 28 full time faculty members, and offers degrees at the undergraduate, MSc and PhD levels. NTU Economics hosted the 2023 Asian Meeting of the Econometric Society, the primary Asian meeting selected by the Asian Regional Standing Committee of the Econometric Society.

Tenure-track Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor in Economics

The School of Social Sciences at NTU has two openings for an Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor (tenure-track) position in Economics. Strong candidates in all fields will be considered.

Selection will be based on evidence of potential for high-quality research and teaching. Relevant post-doctoral experience will be given consideration. Candidates should possess or expect to obtain a PhD degree by August 2025.

The successful candidate is expected to teach and develop courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including General Education courses, as well as supervise graduate students and undergraduate projects.

Emoluments
