We are seeking an excellent academic to join our staff as Assistant Professor in Energy and/or Environmental Economics. The appointee will have a proven record of teaching and research, appropriate to career stage.
Maynooth's Department of Economics has twelve academic staff and offers a vibrant learning and research environment. Members of the Department have research interests and excellent publication records in a range of areas, with particular strengths in Labour Economics and Industrial Organisation. Departmental members have a strong track record of policy-relevant research and engagement with policy makers.
The Department offers undergraduate degrees in Economics through its recently developed integrated BSc/MSc in Economics; its recently redesigned BA International Economics; and through the university’s general entry Arts degree programme. It also offers a well-established high-quality MSc Economics and a structured PhD programme.
