The Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (SBS-EM), the faculty of economics of the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), invites applications for two full-time professor positions in: (i) International Economics and (ii) Microeconomics.
Candidates are expected to develop and consolidate an independent research agenda, foster interdisciplinary collaborations, secure external research funding, and publish in international peer-reviewed journals. They will teach at the Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels and contribute to the academic development of students in their respective fields. Engagement with national and international organisations in Brussels is also expected.
Candidates must hold (or obtain before appointment) a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field and possess an excellent command of English. The administrative language of ULB is French; an adaptation period will be granted if teaching in French becomes necessary.
These are tenure-track positions at, in principle, the Chargé de Cours (Associate Professor) level. Senior applicants may be considered for immediate tenure. Remuneration will follow ULB’s salary scales according to postdoctoral seniority.
