The FSU Economics Department invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. For this position, we are seeking to hire a candidate in the area of microeconomic theory (note: applicants for our other positions should apply to the relevant ad postings). The selected candidate is expected to join the Department of Economics in the Fall of 2026.
The Department welcomes applications from candidates who are entering the job market for the first time and from more experienced candidates (such as Postdocs and advanced Assistant Professors). The successful candidate must show evidence of the potential to produce internationally recognized research (at the new Assistant Professor level) or have a strong track record of scholarship (at the experienced Assistant Professor level). Completion of all requirements for the PhD before the date of hire is required.
