The Department of Economics at the University of Konstanz invites applications for a postdoctoral position in macroeconomics. The position is to be filled as of October 1, 2026 for three years. The salary is based on salary group 13 TV-L (100 %). The postdoctoral research position is part of the project "Inequalities in Climate Finance”, Cluster of Excellence "The Politics of Inequality" (https://www.exc.uni-konstanz.de/en/inequality/).

Applicants should have earned a PhD degree in Economics before taking up the position. Applicants are expected to conduct research in the field of quantitative macroeconomics with potential applications to climate policy and to contribute to the research activities of the Department of Economics. The position is research-only and carries no teaching obligations.

We welcome applications from candidates who show an excellent research potential and exhibit international experience. Applicants should have a strong background in quantitative dynamic macroeconomic models and computational methods.
