The Department of Economics and Management at CY Cergy Paris Université and the Thema research center invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, starting in September 2026.
All fields of Economics eligible.
The position carries a 5-year tenure clock (which can be shortened to 3 years for candidates with sufficient experience and a strong publication record), a competitive salary, a significantly reduced teaching load, and a substantial research budget. A decision for promotion to a tenured position at the full professor rank will be made at the end of the tenure clock.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD degree by the appointment date and show outstanding research potential. Ability to teach in French is not required but will be taken into consideration in the tenure decision.
