Job Description & Qualifications

Candidates for the Postdoctoral Fellow position should have completed, or be close to completing, a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field. We are looking for applicants with strong research interests in behavioral, experimental, or applied microeconomics, particularly in areas such as beliefs, economic disparities, narratives, moral decision-making, or childhood development. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the potential to produce high-quality research and who show evidence of strong communication and presentation skills.

The successful candidate will join the Economics group at ESCP Business School and contribute to its research, teaching, and broader academic activities. The position offers substantial time for independent research, as well as opportunities for collaboration within the chair (of Dr. Kai Barron) and the wider economics community in Berlin. Postdoctoral Fellows are also encouraged to participate in international conferences and to engage with colleagues across ESCP’s campuses in London, Madrid, Paris, Turin, and Warsaw.
