The position is a two-year postdoctoral position. The postdoctoral scholar will work together with Professors Per Strömberg and Gustav Martinsson and Associate Professor Christian Thomann on projects related to climate policy and corporate behavior, using large firm-level datasets on emissions, taxes and financial outcomes. The research builds on an existing data infrastructure and ongoing collaborations with Sveriges Riksbank and government agencies. The objective is to coauthor high-quality journal articles (top general-interest or top field journals). The postdoctoral scholar will also have time for their own projects. There is no teaching associated with the position. We welcome empirically oriented candidates in corporate finance, climate / environmental / energy economics, and applied micro, as well as strong candidates in theory, trade or macro with a clear interest in climate policy and corporate finance. The position is at the Swedish House of Finance and MISUM.

Salary: 45 000 SEK per month (before tax).

Qualified candidates should have completed a doctoral degree or equivalent by the start of the position.
