IGIER Research Center at Bocconi University invites applications for one Postdoctoral Researcher position within the project “LIFT-UP: Lifting up the working poor - predistribution and redistribution at the low end of the wage spectrum" (Grant agreement ID: 101220901).
The project examines how minimum wages and tax-and-transfer policies interact to shape outcomes for low-wage workers. By integrating economic analysis with socio-political perspectives, the project aims to identify how these tools can be designed to effectively and feasibly support the working poor. The analysis will combine evaluations of labor market impacts with insights from social economics surveys to guide better-informed policy design.
