The Department of Economics at Koç University invites applications for a full-time Instructor (Teaching Track) position in the Department of Economics, with an expected start date of September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teaching courses in economics
• Contributing to curriculum development, undergraduate advising, and pedagogical initiatives.
• Participating in departmental and university service, including committee work and student mentoring.
• Collaborating with faculty to support teaching excellence and program development.

Qualifications

• A completed Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality teaching.
• Ability to teach core courses such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Econometrics, as well as field courses aligned with the candidate's expertise in the economics curriculum
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness (e.g., evaluations, awards, sample materials).
• Excellent command of English.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and teaching demonstration.
