Aix Marseille School of Economics (AMSE, http://www.amse-aixmarseille.fr/en) is inviting applications for the following post-doctoral fellowships:
1) One position "Any Field".
2) One position in “Decision theory and rule-based choice”. The post-doctoral fellow will work with Avner Seror (https://sites.google.com/site/avnerseror) on an ANR-funded research agenda at the frontier of decision theory and behavioral economics. The project studies rule-based choice, how decision rules are selected and used across contexts, and methods to infer these decision procedures from observed choices across different environments. The selected candidate is expected to contribute to this agenda while also developing their own research.
Applicants are expected to show outstanding commitment to research and must have obtained their PhD when taking up the position. Knowledge of French is not required. AMSE is located in two campuses (Aix-en-Provence and Marseille) with offices and scientific activity in both locations. Infrastructures are new in both locations. The fellow will receive an office in the location where office space is available. Aix-Marseille School of economics provides a high quality research environment and appropriate research funds.
Fellowships have a duration of three years, subject to a successful mid-term review. The starting date is September 1st, 2026.
Aix-Marseille School of economics is an equal opportunity employer.
Interviews will take place online in the second week of March 2025 and a fly-out is envisaged within the month of March. Decision is to be expected within March. We reserve the option of offering the post at any time during this process.
