Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, Economics Department invite applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. We are interested in candidates in any field of economics, including, but not limited to theoretical-based empirical studies using big datasets, general equilibrium (systemic) analysis of the aggregate and distributional impacts of policies and new technologies, and foundational theoretical work exploring market and non-market social interactions. Candidates must have an active research agenda and a commitment to excellent teaching and hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field. Duties include research for publication in peer-reviewed economics journals, teaching duties, and departmental and university service.
