Northwestern University Department of Economics anticipates filling an opening at the rank of Assistant Professor (full time) beginning September 1, 2027. We invite applications from candidates in all fields of economics. Duties include teaching, research, and advising graduate students. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. by the start date. The expected base pay range for this position is $220,000 - $260,000. This base pay range is for a nine-month academic appointment, does not include summer salary, and is subject to negotiation.
