The Department of Economics at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) invites applications for a position in international economics at any rank: tenure-track assistant professor or, subject to qualifications and budgetary approval, associate or full professor. The expected starting date is June 1, 2027.

Applicants must have an active research agenda in international economics, with a preference for international macroeconomics. Junior candidates should demonstrate strong research potential, while senior candidates should have an established record of high-quality and ongoing research in this field. Candidates must hold a PhD or expect to complete one before taking up the position.

As most courses are taught in French, candidates should have at least an intermediate command of French or be willing to acquire it within a reasonable period.
