The Department of Economics at Ashoka University invites applications for full-time positions at all ranks. The Department is among the leading economics departments in India, with a research-active faculty committed to excellence in both scholarship and teaching. The University is situated in Sonipat, Haryana, India.
Applications are welcome in all fields. Applicants must hold, or be close to completing, a PhD and must have teaching experience appropriate to the rank. For Assistant Professorships, candidates should demonstrate research potential through a strong doctoral dissertation and research papers. Applicants for Associate or Full Professorships must have a strong record of publications in peer-reviewed journals. The University provides an attractive salary along with research budgets.
Applicants must include a CV, sample research papers, a teaching statement, a research statement, and three reference letters. A cover letter may be included if any relevant additional information needs to be communicated.
