The Department of Economics at the University of Konstanz invites applications for postdoctoral positions in macroeconomics. The positions are expected to begin on October 1, 2027 and offered for a term of three years, with the possibility of an extension for up to an additional three years, subject to a positive performance evaluation and the availability of funding. Salary is based on the salary group 13 TV-L (100 %).

Applicants are expected to conduct research in the field of quantitative macroeconomics and to contribute to the research activities of the Department of Economics, in particular to the research groups in Macroeconomics and Public Economics, and to the Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality”. The quality of the candidate’s research will be assessed on the basis of its potential to lead to publications in leading international academic journals.
