The Department of Economics and Business Economics at Aarhus University invites applications for a post-doctoral fellowship in econometric theory, starting in the summer or fall of 2027.

The positions are associated with the Aarhus Center for Econometrics (ACE), which is funded by a Center of Excellence grant from the Danish National Research Foundation. The duration of the post-doctoral fellowship is 3 years, but a longer duration (up to 4 years) may be negotiated with the successful candidate. We offer favourable conditions regarding research facilities, data access, time devoted to research, travel support, etc. For non-Danish researchers, a favourable tax-scheme exists. There are limited teaching responsibilities in connection with the position. In exceptional circumstances, the position may be converted into an assistant professorship.

The Department of Economics and Business Economics is one of the six departments at Aarhus BSS, one of the five faculties at Aarhus University. Interviews will be conducted through the European Job Market virtual meetings mid-December, and candidates may subsequently be invited to give a job talk at Aarhus University starting January 2027.
