The Department of Decision Sciences of Bocconi University in Milan, invites applications for 2 Tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level in Theoretical Economics and Mathematical Economics.

The appointments will begin in Fall 2027.

Qualifications

Applicants should have, or be close to completing, a Ph.D. and demonstrate high research potential.

Job information

Successful candidates will be expected to develop a strong publication record, contribute to the academic life of the department, and be effective teachers both at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Salaries for Assistant Professors in the Decision Sciences Department start from € 100,000 per year. The final salary offer may be adjusted according to the actual seniority of the successful candidate, in accordance with the objective and non-discriminatory criteria adopted by the University.

The tenure track will run for up to eight years (with one paid sabbatical year). There is the possibility of promotion to a tenured position by the end of that period or before.
