The Department of Applied Economics of HEC Montréal is seeking to recruit at least one professor with starting date on June 1st, 2027 at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
Note that this position is at the Department of Applied Economics of HEC Montréal, not at the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of the University of Montréal.
Requirements:
Candidates must either have a Ph.D. or be near completion of a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline. Teaching excellence is required, as well as a strong aptitude for research and a marked interest for publication; recent conferences and publications will attest to this ability.

The main language of instruction at HEC Montréal is French, and some courses and programs are offered in English. Proficiency in English is required to teach courses in this language, to communicate with non-French-speaking students, and to carry out certain research activities.
