The Institute of Innovation Economics welcomes applications for the following position starting at the earliest possible date:

Postdoctoral Researcher in the field of Innovation Economics (salary scale 13 TV-L, 100%)

The fixed-term position is limited to 3 years.

Your role

We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher who is interested in conducting quantitative research in innovation economics. The ideal candidate is experienced in conducting quantitative research related to economic transformation and shows interest in collaborative research with other members of the institute. You will have the opportunity to conduct individual research as well as research in collaboration. The position comes with a teaching load of four course hours per week during the term. The course language is either English or German.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate must hold a university science degree in Economics or a related field.

In addition, we are looking for a candidate with the following:

• a relevant completed PhD/Doctorate is expected

• strong research track-record in Innovation Economics and/or Behavioural Economics can be proven by very strong working papers or published research projects

• fluency in spoken and written English

• ability to teach at Bachelor’s and Master’s level
