The University of Barcelona School of Economics (UBSE) and the University of Barcelona Business School (UBBS) invite applications for several Postdoctoral and Assistant Professor positions in all fields of Economics and Business, starting in September 2027.

Promotion from Postdoctoral to Assistant Professor is contingent upon a favorable evaluation, while promotion to Associate Professor requires both a favorable evaluation and governmental accreditation.

With a longstanding tradition in teaching, it offers a wide array of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in Economics and Business. Within this framework, the UB School of Economics and the UB Business School serve as pivotal platforms for research and graduate education in Economics and Business, within the vibrant Barcelona academic hub.

Candidates are expected to show outstanding commitment to research and must have completed a PhD when taking up the position.

They will be expected to teach in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, supervise students’ work at all levels, develop an internationally recognised research agenda, and actively participate in the research activities of their School, Department and research groups.
