The Department of Economics of the University of Zurich invites applications for a three year Postdoctoral Research Fellow position starting September 2019 or earlier. The position is within economics of child and youth development with a focus on breastfeeding.

Candidates should hold a PhD degree in Economics with a specialization in applied microeconomics, including research on child development. Preferably the candidate has a strong expertise in either applied microeconometric methods or in field experiments.

Successful candidates will be appointed for three-years. After three years the contract can be extended for up to another three years. The position does not include any teaching obligations.

The Department of Economics offers an exciting research environment, competitive terms and conditions, and generous research support. Knowledge of German is not a requirement.
